«Una luz afuera» is a suspense feature, a story that takes place in a small town in the 80´s. The film is about physical and psychological abuse suffered by a disabled woman.

According to many international organizations, disabled women may also feel more isolated and unable to report abuse, even sometimes, depend on the abuser in order to survive. They face obstacles and discrimination due to the duality of being women and suffering from a disability. «Una luz afuera» shows this vulnerability to situations of domestic violence and emotional or sexual abuse.
